Rules

A rule allows you to customize additional attributes on colors and families. By default, rules have the following properties:

• name
• slug
• category

Rule Categories

A rule must belong to one of the following categories:

• Availability (default): A datetime value
• Boolean: true or false
• Georestriction: A list of countries

Relationship to Colors

A rule with specified value can be applied directly to a color.

Relationship to Families

A rule with a specified value can be applied directly to a family. This lets you define rules once per family and allows the rule to be inherited by the family's children.
